A Note from Elizabeth

January 23, 2012

Here is the first post from my wife, Elizabeth:

I just got back from our first official morning at the capital! The “opening ceremonies” were fabulous.

Senator Aaron Osmond convinced his “Second Generation” nephews to sing. It was gorgeous and in true Osmond fashion and harmony. They sang three numbers, including “The National Anthem” by David Osmond, and a number written by Senator Orrin Hatch. Their mother, Suzanne, also grew up in Spanish Fork (like me) and our mothers are life-long friends. So it was fun to visit with her.

Also, my very good friend, and book club buddy of 14 years, Lori Poole (as seen waiving below), was sworn in as a member of the senate staff.

So . . . I must admit, it was a wonderful day! My thanks to everyone who believed in Todd enough to get him here! As I promised—’he will not let you down!’
