Married to Elizabeth since 1991 Four children in public schools.

Currently the Vice President General Counsel for LSI in Layton, Utah Previously spent 15 years in private practice Salt Lake City, Utah

CORE BELIEFS
1. Accountability – Elected officials work for us, not the other way around.
2. Smaller Government – Utah deserves lower taxes and less regulation.
3. Quality Education – We must provide our children with the necessary tools to succeed.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES
1. We should promote self-reliance, not entitlements.
2. We should provide all citizens with equal opportunities, not equal outcomes.
3. We should insist that the government protect our God-given rights; not attempt to take them away.

1. Chair of the Retirement and Independent Entities Committee.

3. Serve on the Judiciary, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Standing Committee.

    I appreciate your politics and, in particular, your support for H.B. 148 from the 2012 Utah legislature. What I don’t understand, however, is why I must go to the Utah Legislature web site to find out who it is that represents Dist. 23. Why not put “Hello, I am Senator ___ on your Home page or on the Family page or both?
